For guitar, I have a collection of electric and acoustic guitars to cover all styles.  I play an AxeFX rig which gives me 200 amps plus cabinets and effects galore.  I can usually create genre- and decade-specific sounds and match most any effects.  I can be silent on stage, rock-out with loud cabinets, or anywhere in-between.

For drums/percussion, I use a Roland TD-30 electronic kit which makes it easy to get just about any sound (drums, timpani, xylophone, chimes, SFX, etc.) and provides a quick connection to the PA system. For guitar, I have various guitars and amps covering a variety of styles including blues, rock, country and jazz.

Being part musician and part technologist, I also enjoy playing with the technical aspects of music production and sound engineering. You’ll find some posts on this site of my experimentation with sound design and trials and triumphs with Logic Pro and MainStage.
